Tipnut’s Weekly Update: {February 22nd, 2012}
It’s time for Tipnut’s Weekly Update! Here’s what’s new today: Fabric scrap project ideas (50+), yarn stash busters (knit & crochet), diy stone massage, knit bags & totes, laundry bag tutorials, 75+ pasta recipes and as always, a fresh batch of new projects and freebies to check out. Lots here this week, enjoy!

- 75+ Pasta Pleasers: Whew! If you love pasta, this is the page for you! This old list has been completely revamped, I’ve separated the recipes into groups for easier browsing (Angel Hair, Bow-Tie, Egg Noodles, Fettuccine and more).
- Lovely Knitted Bag Patterns (Including A Vintage Design): Originally an old checkerboard bag pattern was listed here, I’ve now added several new projects from around the net.
- 30 Stash Busters To Use Up Those Bits Of Yarn: This is another old collection that’s been completely revamped and freshened up. Originally listing just kitchen items, this now has a little bit of everything (knit and crochet).
- Hot Stone Massage Therapy: {How-To}: Here’s how to do a home version of this luxurious (and expensive) spa treatment.
- Laundry Bags & Sacks: This page was originally a cute vintage pattern but I’ve updated it to include several other projects from around the net.
- Scrap Happy: More Than 50 Fabric Scraps & Remnant Ideas: I first started publishing these fabric scrap collections nearly four years ago and decided it was time to freshen things up. Everything is now on one page and lists dozens of new projects, any new ideas I come across will also go here so this is one you’ll want to bookmark if you haven’t already
.
I’m still working through the old Crafters Medley lists and should have that done next week, it’s going a lot quicker than I thought (yay!). There are several items that haven’t made it to currently published collections here on Tipnut but stay tuned for new ones built around them in the near future.
Homemade Sugar Scrub Recipes: I just added a new recipe that includes powdered milk as an ingredient, this was sent in by Charlotte (thank you!) and I tried it over the weekend…loved it!
Today’s Ash Wednesday and you know what that means…the Lenten season has begun (for those who practice it). You’ll be wanting some meat-free recipes, I have tuna casseroles listed here (this one from Campbell’s Kitchen is my husband’s favorite so far) and meat free recipes here.
