Tipnut’s Weekly Update: {January 4th, 2012}
It’s time for Tipnut’s Weekly Update! Here’s what’s new this week: Traditional housewarming gifts (and what they mean), DIY Shoe Makeovers (both casual & glam), this month’s vintage pattern set (Retro Kitchen Embroidery) and a fresh bunch of new goodies added to the project pages here on Tipnut.

- DIY Shoe Makeovers: {Both Casual & Glam}: If you have a favorite pair of shoes that are comfy to wear but have gotten a little scuffed and tired, here are several different ways you can bring them back to life.
- Retro Kitchen Embroidery Set: Five different designs suitable for using on dishtowels and pot holders, each has a “handwritten” label (to be embroidered) describing the item.
- Traditional Housewarming Gifts (And What They Symbolize): If you’ve always wondered why an item was given and what it meant, here’s a handy reference list for you.

I enjoy this page so very much !.
Love your newsletter. You have great information, tips, and crafts. Quite a few of your tips are things I have used/done for decades thanks to my Grandmothers. All of them (Greats as well) knew how to get stuff done without all of the “newfangled” equipment or the over the top expenses. Keep up the good work. I make a beeline to my inbox every Wednesday. Then of course it takes a few days to look through because of all the great stuff. Thank you.
