Here’s what’s new today: Simple nutrient-rich garden brews (that your plants will love), natural cramp remedies (menstrual), big recipe updates for homemade granola (cereals/bars), chicken wings and salad dressings…plus a new batch of projects and freebies to check out. Have fun!

- 7 Nutrient-Rich Brews Your Plants Will Love: So simple, so inexpensive and yet they have so much to offer! Make simple infusions using seaweed/kelp, kitchen scraps, yard refuse and more…your garden will thank you for it.
- 40+ Recipes For Granola Cereals/Mixes & Bars: Yum! This page has undergone a big makeover with lots of new recipes to try.
- Fight Menstrual Cramps With Oils, Herbal Teas & More: A list of teas and food additives that can help (ginger, flax seed, etc.), but also some nice massage oil recipes, an easy salve and infused oil to check out (among other ideas).
- 45+ Tasty Chicken Wings You’ll Want To Try: Page has been updated and redone with loads of new recipes. I separated them into two different groups: Saucy/Sticky/Glazed and Hot or Spicy…should be something here for everyone!
- 50+ Homemade Salad Dressings: A total makeover, this page now features over 50 recipes you can try for making your own salad dressings. I also moved the tutorial for making your own vinaigrette to the bottom of this page.
Unfortunately I ran out of time this week so the Easter goodies site update for this year is pushed back to next week, my apologies!
Quick Tip For The Garden:
For tying up tomatoes or beans or any plants that needs tying: I always use an old pair of tights. Cut one leg of the tights off and then snip the toe part off. Then cut straight across in 1 inch strips until you reach the top of the leg. Use a strip to tie your tomato plant to stakes and as the plants grows, the tie will stretch, never damaging the plant. Works for all sorts of DIY jobs as well! (Sent in by Sarah, thank you!)

I was surprised to see the advertisement of the scantilly clad woman on your page! This is usually not the style of this site.
Otherwsie; thank you for all the tremendous ideas!
Sharon
Well you have helped me again. I was looking at salad dressing and couldn’t bring my self to pay the awful price. My favorite e-mail of the week comes with a answer to my problem. Thank you for making Wednesday special.
You always give wonderful ideas,I always look forward to your list of helpful ideas they are so good. Thanks again all the best.
Amazing, yet again! Thank you so much for these weekly updates and the entire site. Truly a delight that everyone in our family enjoys.
THANKS SO MUCH! I HAVE BEEN FREEZING BELL PEPERS BUT
DIDN’T KNOW YOU COULD FREEZE CELERY!
Loved Sarah’s “tights” tip for tying up plants. Laughed too – always teasing my sister, telling her she should write a book : A million uses for panty hose and support stockings. But they are amazingly strong – we have even “hoisted” things when we didn’t have a rope handy!
Thanks for all the great ideas!
