		<description>Here&#039;s a tip from my mom, in light of recent salmonella scares.  My parents were stationed in Libya, where they used &#039;night soil&#039; (human waste) as fertilizer.  Take a large plastic bowl or basin, fill with water.  Add one capful of regular (not lemon-scented) bleach.  Toss in vegetables.  Let soak for a minute.  Rinse again in regular water. The bleach will kill the salmonella and other icky stuff.</description>
