8 Ways To Add Zip To French Dressing
Put some zip into regular, ready-to-use French salad dressing (these are found in an old cookbook).
Directions:
Take 1/2 cup French dressing and add one of the following:
- Anchovy French Dressing: 2 tsp finely cut anchovies
- Bombay French Dressing: 1/4 tsp curry powder; 1 chopped hard-cooked egg; 1/2 tsp minced onion
- Cranberry French Dressing: 2 TBS canned whole cranberry sauce
- Florentine French Dressing: 1 TBS finely chopped raw spinach
- Mustard French Dressing: 1 TBS prepared mustard
- Parmesan French Dressing: 2 TBS grated Parmesan cheese
- Soy French Dressing: 1 TBS soy sauce
- Zesty French Dressing: 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
