Put some zip into regular, ready-to-use French salad dressing (these are found in an old cookbook).

Directions:

Take 1/2 cup French dressing and add one of the following:

  1. Anchovy French Dressing: 2 tsp finely cut anchovies
  2. Bombay French Dressing: 1/4 tsp curry powder; 1 chopped hard-cooked egg; 1/2 tsp minced onion
  3. Cranberry French Dressing: 2 TBS canned whole cranberry sauce
  4. Florentine French Dressing: 1 TBS finely chopped raw spinach
  5. Mustard French Dressing: 1 TBS prepared mustard
  6. Parmesan French Dressing: 2 TBS grated Parmesan cheese
  7. Soy French Dressing: 1 TBS soy sauce
  8. Zesty French Dressing: 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
