Applique Pillows Project How To
Today’s feature is from Design*Sponge with a project for Appliqué Pillows. If you’re having a hard time coming up with a homemade gift idea for a teenager, I think this just might fit the bill–and it’s a cheap & easy project too!
Supplies Needed:
- 1 1/2 yards linen
- Four 8″ x 10″ pieces of different colored wool felt (ultrasuede or vinyl would also work – any material that doesn’t fray when you cut it)
- Two 18″ square pillow inserts
- Sewing machine
- Iron
- Thread
- Scissors
- Computer/printer
You don’t have to make these out of linen, I think a good quality fleece or thick cotton terry cloth would make some cute and cozy typography cushions too (especially comfy for lounging and movie watching).
Great project, please visit the site above for project details.
