20+ Crochet Baby Blanket Patterns: {Free}

Here’s a new list for baby blankets, this time for crochet (see knitting projects here [1]). I found some really nice ones to include in this collection and there’s sure to be something here to suit everyone’s style. I’ll be adding more as I come across them, enjoy!

Tiramisu [2]: Finished size is 32″ x 32″. Made with lovely organic cotton and trimmed with ribbon. File download is here [3] (pdf).

Basket Weave [4]: Finished size 42″x33″ (approximately). This is also easy to make up into a bigger piece.

Simple Stripes [5]: Red yarn twisted with salmon to create a subtle tweed for the stripes, but a single color can be just as striking.

Afghan [6]: Finished size is approx. 38″ square, this is very stretchy lengthwise. If desired, may be blocked to measure 37″ x 46″.

Mayflower [7]: Skill level marked as Intermediate, approx. finished size measures 37″ 40″.

Gecko [8]: Only requires a small amount of each colour so it’s perfect for using up scraps of worsted-weight yarn. Finished size measures 22″ x 22″.

Cotton Chenille [13]: Finished size measures 26″ square (approx.), to make it a little larger, just change the number of stitches that you chain.

Arcade Stitch How-To [16]: Very easy to do & gives the project a delicate look. You determine the length & width as you like.

Ripple [17]: Afghan measures approximately 30″/76 cm wide by 38″/96.5 cm long. A knit version is also available.
