How To Make A Bath Towel Head Wrap
Today’s feature is from Marmadaisy with a great project for repurposing old towels with Bath Towel Head Wrap:
As someone with long hair I can confirm that it’s mightily annoying to have your towel spontaneously unwrap and drop dripping hair everywhere.
We all have those towels that have seen better days, lost their “fluffiness” and are, frankly, only good for wiping dogs’ feet.
This is quite a good way to use an old towel. Or you could use a nice new one, if you wanted to give it as a gift.

Update – Another Pattern:
(originally posted December 5, 2006)
Here’s a free pattern for a spa headwrap – I haven’t found many of these patterns on the net (for free) so this is a treat: Headwrap Project Pattern (pdf).
It’s a towel similar to the Twisty Towel. Once you put it on, the towel doesn’t fall loose and slip off your head. Easy peasy to make, great gift idea.
Note: Thick towels tend to be too heavy, so thinner towels are best to use. Perfect for older towels you don’t want to throw away. Main pattern page: Perfect Little Stitches Headwrap
