You may have noticed a little funny business here on Tipnut the past couple days, that was just me trying to fix things up a bit here on the blog.

A few new things added that you may be interested in:

1. Search: The search feature has been enhanced and should help you find what you’re looking for a little better now. Blog search abilities aren’t at Yahoo’s expert level, but they’re ok. I’d like to setup a “Search Tips” page to give some pointers, that will be sometime in the near future.
2. Comments & Trackbacks: I had to take this down quite awhile ago when Tipnut was experiencing hosting issues, but I’ve readded it now. You can view the last few comments and trackbacks made on Tipnut in the far right sidebar. This may have to be removed if blog load performance is affected, but I think it will be ok.
3. New Sidebar Section: Readers Spotlight. I’ve added a running thread to collect new tips submitted by readers. I also moved the Tipnut Mailbag section to this part of the sidebar.
4. Thank You! Section: It was long overdue, but I’ve finally updated and changed some of the links in this section (located in the lower half of the far right sidebar) to spread the thanks around a bit. Please check out the new sites, they’re good ones and I’m thankful they shared Tipnut with their readers.
5. A few simple cosmetic changes were made in the design as well as some sections moved around a bit, nothing too elaborate.
