Make this lovely cardboard oven with materials from around your home.

Take a cardboard file box with attached lid, some scrap pieces of cardboard, spray paint, old CDs, bottle caps and other various items from around the house and turn them into this crafty treat. There’s even a pdf template to download for the oven knob labels.

There are a few steps involved with this project but nothing too complicated. You’ll find a full page of instructions plus a two-part video on the site providing step-by-step instructions.

    You could also use a free copy paper box instead of buying an IKEA box, just cut the lid on one side to make a hinge.

    And for the clear plastic oven window, you could use the plastic from a 2 ltr soda bottle.
