How To Make Winter Citrus Potpourri
Today’s feature is from Chickens In The Road with this tutorial for a lovely homemade Winter Citrus Potpourri:
Make potpourri! I love the look and the fragrance of this citrus mix with the orange pomander centerpiece. It’s pretty and easy and it makes great gifts!
I conjured up this potpourri mix utilizing what was available to me, so think creatively and adjust the recipe to suit what you can get your hands on where you are.
Oh boy, this is sooooo easy to make! Fill a roaster with thinly sliced citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes) and stick it in the oven on low heat for a few hours.
When the fruit is dried, add gathered pinecones and pine cuttings, cloves, cinnamon sticks and whatever else you like. Package in bags and voila! You’ll have several gift bags of this holiday potpourri for cheap!
