Dishtowel Potholder Tutorial
Today’s feature is from Artsy-Crafty Babe with a quick & easy Dishtowel Potholder Tutorial:
For this project, I usually use 100% woven cotton dishtowels from the dollar store. It’s best to use something that isn’t too bulky.
All you need for supplies:
- 1 standard sized dishtowel
- a snip of ribbon (to make a hanging loop)
- thread
No fussing with padding! With some brilliant folding, all you need to do is sew around all sides of the potholder–the raw edges are tucked neatly inside. If you’d like to embellish things a bit, suggestions are to add appliqués, some embroidery or a piece of patchwork.
It doesn’t get any easier than this, great project! Please visit the site above for all the details.
