Repurpose Towels: Eco Bath Rug Project
Here’s another cozy bath mat you can make out of old towels, today’s feature is from Ecologue with Recycled Bath Mat:
Give those old towels a second life by turning them into a super soft, oh-so-cozy bath rug. All you need besides the towels (old t-shirts will also work but with less luxurious results) is a gridded matting that you can find at any craft store.
Use rug hook canvas mesh in the size of bath mat you want, cut your old towels into strips, tie them on and voila! A luxuriously dense, super soft bath rug. Please visit the site for all the details, you can also watch a video showing how to make this as well.

It would be a good idea to heat up a hot-glue gun and glue shelving material (the foam kind) to keep the mat from slipping on the floor.
