When you place your hot pans and dishes on this spice-filled cushion, the air will fill with the scent of delicious cooking.

Save your counter tops and tables from heat damage with this easy to make trivet. The fabric used in the project is repurposed mattress fabric but you can use any heavier weight fabric with a fiber content of cotton (other fibers may melt under heat).

Fill the bag with a spicy mix of rice and herbs and enjoy the fragrance each time you set a hot object on the trivet. Nice project!
