Does anyone know of a pattern for making a small fabric bag for thimbles, cotton reel etc that does up with small hooks and eyes, it’s almost ‘origami’ in construction. I saw it in a fabric shop near Matlock, Derbyshire a few years ago but the shop had closed when I returned to enquire about the pattern a few months later!

Try searching the Silver Needle online. It is a Just Nan design. Hopefully this is something like you are looking for!
