17 Dish Scrubbies To Make
Posted By Tipnut On February 23, 2011 @ 12:28 am In Crochet | 5 Comments
Scrubbies are nice to use and they’re simple to make too! These are handy in the kitchen for washing dishes and gentle enough to use on appliances and counter tops. Also tuck a few into your cleaning bucket since they wipe away fingerprints and scuffs found around the house (fine to use on painted walls). I love making these (they’re so quick & easy!) and am always looking for new patterns to try. Consider adding this to your handmade gift list for project ideas, lots of people love receiving them!
*All of these are crochet unless otherwise noted

Loom/Spool Knit [3]: These are really scratchy but because the crino is 100% nylon it won’t scratch Teflon or even a ceran top stove. Washer & dryer friendly.

Rainbow Petals [5]: Uses acrylic worsted weight yarn (1 color) and kitchen cotton worsted weight (1 to 4 colors), features a scratchy bobbled center.

Aloo [7]: Made with Aloo yarn but you can opt for thin hemp or linen yarn (for a body/bath) or cotton and acrylic (household).
