Holiday Projects: Fabric Garland & Ornament
Today’s feature is from Lazy Girl Designs with two different holiday crafts, Free Projects: Holiday Fabric Garland and Ornament:
Here are two quick and easy projects you can still make in time for the holidays: fabric ball ornament and easy fabric garland or ribbon. Both are made by fusing layers of fabric together to make what I call ‘quilters canvas’ – great body, double-sided and won’t fray on the cut edges. Fabulous!
I really like the fabric garland, these couldn’t be easier to make and what a nice touch for embellishing gifts (and containers of baking gifts). Great idea for using up those scraps of holiday fabric too! The fabric garlands can be reused plenty of times which makes this idea an earth friendly gift topper.
The fabric ornaments are made from scraps as well with some simple sewing involved. The project is a little trickier than the fabric garland, but how cute would these be hanging from a Christmas tree!
Please visit the site above for all the project details. Nice ideas!
