Gingham Flowers Pattern Set: {Cross Stitch & Embroidery}

Gingham Flowers Cross Stitch Embroidery Series
Here is the latest freebie set of vintage cross stitch and embroidery patterns to be shared on Tipnut, I’ve chosen a really nice series that is perfect for Spring & Summer projects: Gingham Flowers (1950s).
This is a mail order set from Laura Wheeler, Pattern Number 822, and they’re perfect for tea towels and are from the same design series as the Gingham Fruit, both are favorites of mine! I tested the print copy sizes to make sure they are exactly the same size as the original.
Now the details (from the original copy)…

Thank you again! This is a beautiful set also. HOW DO YOU DO IT? I really appreicate your willingness to share with all of your fellow embroidery friends!
LOL
OOPS! I really APPRECIATE your willingness to share! (So much for spell-check!)
I am new to the site and totally loved the pattern here. But I am not well aware of the Gingham Cross stitch embroidery. Is this the traditional Gingham emroidery? By reading the instructions, I have got some idea, but it will be great if you can show any one of this completed pattern? Can you post or e-mail me any photos of the completed pattern?
Hi Shrenika, it’s actually just cross stitch, there is some embroidery too (the outline stitch). It might have been more clear if I titled it “Cross Stitch & Embroidery”.
So no fancy new needlework to learn, just do the pattern in cross stitch
.
Another wonderful set of vintage designs.
Thank you so much for making these available.
I also love hand embroidery and have a huge stash of vintage patterns I would be willing to share if you are ever looking for more … and THANK YOU for making these available – it’s a beautiful art!
