Homemade Reuseable Tea Bags
Today’s feature is from Craft Leftovers with instructions and pattern for a reusable tea bag: Pinch of Tea!
This week’s pattern is a nice little tea bag that you can reuse. I just love tea…. love it. But I’m not too fond of tea bags. They just seem so wasteful to me. Unfortunately, as on the go as I am, they are sometimes the best option for my travel mug. A solution was needed and these little reusable cloth tea bags were the perfect answer to my problem.
These are simple to whip up, a small drawstring bag made from scraps of muslin fabric (she has included a pattern). Especially nice option for those that like to make their own loose tea blends and don’t care for the metal tea balls. Cleaning’s a breeze, just rinse out the used tea bits and air dry the bag.
Gift Idea: Fill homemade tea bags with your favorite blends of loose tea, then pack in a little gift box (like in the picture above) or slip into a dainty tea cup and wrap.
