I think you could Hilda, works for homemade glass cleaner so it should be fine for hand wipes (the rubbing alcohol).

Do you mean the gel type of liquid hand sanitizer? Because both the vodka or rubbing alcohol mentioned here would sanitize. I don't think I have a gel recipe, but if I do I'll drop a link in here.

Good points Beverly, sometimes though there's a need to use up extra vodka on hand (I know! How could anyone have a need for that, lol!). This is a great solution for those cases. I also prefer wipes to gel/air dry cleaners. Probably a psychological thing--to me it feels more cleaner wiping your hands with a clean cloth.

Can you replace the vodka with regular isopropyl alcohol?

I like the flannelette idea, it makes these wipes more environment friendly.

Those little bottles of Hand sanitizer are so much easier!

takes up less space--in my purse, in glove box

better for environment--no garbage-except plastic bottle--You could recycle it

quick, no mixing

inexpensive to purchase--(how much is the cost to purchase ingredients, ziploc bags, papertowels...?)
