I highly recommend keeping the mint in another pot. Parsley is another one that can get out of hand. Another thing that grows well inside are little tomatoes such as grape tomatoes. We eat a lot of tomatoes. They get expensive in the winter, but we still keep them in the house. I decided to try to grow them last year and had excellent luck. We kept them on a small table over the heater so they had a warm sunny spot. The only problem I found was they needed excessive (sometimes twice daily) watering. This year, I will have an automatic watering system in place!

You've got me inspired to start my own indoor herb garden, I love cooking and fresh herbs are always the best to use for more flavour, not to mention how healthy they are. *admin edit

I am so ready for spring so I can start my garden. Last year was the first year I did gardening and I was so proud of all I was able to grow. Herbs are incredibly easy to grow and add so much to my dishes. Thanks for the garden inspiration!
