How to Make Ice Wreaths
Today’s feature is from Resurrection Fern with How to Make Ice Wreaths:
I had so many lovely comments on the ice wreath hung on the garden gate yesterday that I decided to let anyone who doesn’t already know in on how to make them.
It is so easy and although I realize they don’t last forever if you live in a sub zero climate in the winter and don’t place it directly in the sunshine they can last for weeks or even months.
All you need is a round pan, bowl or bundt cake pan, some greenery, bright berries (like cranberries), fabric scraps and any other embellishment you like. Top with water and set outside to freeze.
Place a candle inside the ice wreath, hang them outside or place on the front porch or deck for an outdoor holiday decoration. Quite cute! If you want to make these ahead of time for the holidays and don’t want to display them just yet, wrap in plastic and put in the freezer until you need them.
