  1. Thank you, too! This is one of my favorite blogs to visit every day.

  2. Glenda Maphis says:

    Tips on going green
    1. Take all those ends of veggies, coffee grounds, tea bags out to your compost pile. Add all your leftovers in it too. A cover that is black will help it cook better. Apply it to your garden and see what a fabulous difference it will make. Never put any citrus, meat or bones in the pile. Dog manure is not recommended either.

    2. That extra water you just canned in can be put into your washing machine to use later for washing your clothes. The water is clean and actually disinfected. Don’t waste our Natural resources.

P.S. Thanks for putting the Angel food ministries on your site. It will help millions of people.

I have been blog surfing this evening and came across your wonderful blog of helpful things. I’ve spent a good hour on here just looing at all kinds of different things and I will be back to look at more. Thank You! :)

  4. Morniel says:

Do not ever put “leftovers” in a compost pile or worm bucket. Veggie peels and ends, fruit skins, old teabags and possibly coffeegrounds, but leftovers, never. That’s a sure-fire way of inviting “vermin” such as possums, raccoons, rats, and mice — along with the things such as snakes, which prey on them.
