Kitchen Proverbs Vintage Embroidery Pattern: Too Many Cooks Spoil The Broth
Here is this week’s free embroidery pattern from the vintage Kitchen Proverbs Pattern series “Too Many Cooks Spoil The Broth“. This is the sixth and last pattern from the set.
The pattern is the bonnet girl frowning over a pot of soup with her cat and dog looking on. Looks like the broth has been spoiled ;). There are a few fold lines on this copy, please ignore them when transfering to your fabric.
You can download the pattern here: Too Many Cooks Spoil The Broth. Make sure to first save the pattern to your desktop before printing, or it won’t print off correctly (see Printing Instructions below).
You’ll find the color and stitch key for this pattern here.
Complete instructions for this pattern series are found here.
There are six patterns in this set, this is the last pattern of the bunch.
Printing Instructions: Make sure to save the pattern to your computer desktop first (right click, save as…), then open the file on your computer, select “Print”, uncheck anything like “Maintain Aspect Ratio” and “Fit To Page” then print. These will all fit on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of paper.
If you need help transferring the pattern, see this page: Embroidery Pattern Transfer Tips - Vintage Notes.
I’ll take a break from the vintage embroidery pattern freebies for a few weeks and will start uploading more sometime the end of May, maybe even June. I have a few vintage crochet & sewing projects I’d like to share in the meantime, just for a change. I already have the new embroidery pattern series picked out and I think you’ll like them :).
