I like the sound of the NO S diet. Another tip:
Give 100% in your diet ALL TIMES, 80% in the week and 20% on weekends. Remember your water – its like fuel to the body, even if it has no calories.
I like this idea alot! I have been trying to loose weight for a while now and I am hoping this will work. Another thing is to eat slower, allowing the food to reach your stomach faster and you will feel full without wanting seconds!
You know I never did so hot with this, and I’m disappointed about that. It’s a great, common sense diet–but it still requires dedication. Maybe this year I can do better

I thought this diet sounded good. When I tried it, it did nothing. I don’t normally eat a lot of “junkfood” and so I guess you could say this was the wrong diet. My best friend, Betsy, however tried the diet(she eats junkfood a lot) and the same thing happened to her. She lost a total of 2 pounds over a span of two months. We have a lot of wight to loose and we need to loose more in less time.
I have found that when I cut out sweets and snacks, I tend to “make up” the calories in other ways. On the South Beach diet I spent more time eating sugar-free pudding and South Beach ice cream bars than on eating real, whole foods. This rule sounds like a “maintenance” kind of thing, something to follow once you reach your target weight. Or a good starting place if you don’t want to go on a diet “cold turkey.” But all experts agree that diet is useless without exercise! You don’t have to join a gym, just find some way to move!
