Martha Stewart’s Good Things For The Kitchen
Martha has a new booklet out “Good Things For The Kitchen – 91 shortcuts & smart ideas”.
The shortcuts and ideas are quite useful and basic, nothing complicated or so off the wall you wouldn’t use them. Things like how to cut in butter and using the right measuring cups.
The booklet also has a handy index at the back so you can quickly find what you’re looking for. Great pictures too.
An example of the neatest tip (in my opinion):
Tip #32
Peeling a kiwi
Here’s a clever–and quick–way to skin a kiwi: Trim both ends of the fruit; ease a tablespoon between the flesh and the peel. Turn the kiwi, pressing the back of the spoon against the peel as you go. The fruit should slide right out in one piece–ready for slicing.
I picked up a copy earlier this week and thought it was a great little book. If you like TipNut, I’m sure you’ll love this booklet, it’s on sale until March 26th–I found it at the checkout stand of the grocery store. Price is $3.95 (or $4.95 Canadian).
