Mock Reeses Peanut Butter Cups Recipe

Recipe - Tipnut.comCaution: You may lose your mind and eat the whole pan in one sitting. I’ve done it and it’s not pretty!

Mock Peanut Butter Cups

Base ingredients:

1 3/4 cups icing sugar
1 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup melted margarine

Topping ingredients:

1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup peanut butter

Directions:

  • Mix all the ingredients for the base and press into a 9×13 pan.
  • Melt the topping ingredients together, mixing well, and pour over the base smoothly and evenly.
  • Refrigerate for a minimum two hours then slice into squares.

    I have a very similar recipe at my blog but I make them in mini muffin cups so they really look like Reeses! And I agree with you, it’s not pretty when one eats the whole thing… guilty as charged :)

    We have a peanut allergy in our family, so I am going to try to make these using soybutter instead of the PB! Mmmmm I can’t wait!

    These sound so good, but what is icing sugar? I don’t know if it is powered sugar.
