How To Make A Mosaic Flower Pot

It may be too early in the year for many of us to dig in and start puttering around in the garden (I still have snowbanks!), but it’s not too early to get creative with our garden accessories. Today’s feature is from Curbly with How to Make Maven’s Mosaic Flower Pot:

Several years ago I made a mosaic flower pot as a shower gift. Everyone at the shower went a little ga-ga over it. Their enthusiasm got me thinking. Would people actually like to learn how to make such things and pay me to teach them how to do it? Apparently so, because a few months later I was teaching the technique at several local adult education programs. Here, my fellow Curblians, is a complimentary tutorial, just for you!

Take a plain old terra cotta pot, add some pieces of ceramic tile (or pieces of broken china) and voila! a one-of-a-kind garden showpiece. Here’s a video tute showing how to make the pots, or you can visit the site listed above…
