Organize With Quick Pockets - Sewing Tutorial
Today’s feature is from Crafty Beats with a lovely Quick Pockets Tutorial
This is made from one single piece of normal dishcloth. The whole dishcloth is in this wall-pocket, i.e. no scraps left. It actually surprised myself, too. No wonder such a practical project is just my type. It took only 1.5 hour to make (including cutting, thinking and sewing), however it changed the look of our shelf a lot. I can hardly describe how I am pleased when it is finished. Anyway, I have to share with you how it is made.
All you need is some thread, 1 dishcloth and 1 piece of carton from cereal box. What a great (and very frugal) organizing tool!

I seem to have missed something here. She doesn’t tell about making the pocket on the back for the piece of cardboard. The way she explains it, the pocket for the cardboard just happens to be there.

I could have this wrong, but I’m assuming that the cardboard will neatly slide into the folded over seams.
