I also try to plan my trips for maximum efficiency so I when I know what places I will be visiting or near I go through the stack of cards and pull out the ones I need and place them in my wallet. Once I return home, i immediately empty my wallet and put the cards back in the pile. I will also try to use my phone number at any place I forget or don't have my card for that will accept it. I have them on a separate ring, use a big hook-thingie I bought at Ace Hardware. It's a clip of sorts, don't know what to call it. Even our library has offered our cards as a keyring card.
