Perfect Fluffy Pancakes
Today’s feature tip is from Minnesota Mama with her instructions for making perfect fluffy pancakes–every time!
I found a recipe for ‘Perfect Pancakes’ in a favorite cookbook of mine so I gave it a try. We didn’t know what we were missing! The recipe calls for you to separate the egg whites from the yolks and to beat the whites until they are stiff. After you’ve mixed up the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl you then fold in the beaten egg whites. They make the fluffiest, lightest pancakes and they get gobbled up in no time!
The recipe has all the basic ingredients, the secret is in the preparation.
Tip: For making pancakes in perfect circles, try using a turkey baster to squeeze the batter onto the hot griddle.
