2. DIY Sturdy Magazine Holders: I’ve seen lots of these made from cereal boxes but these are nice and sturdy made from heavier cardboard boxes (complete with rounded edges).
3. DIY Laundry Organizer: (Video) From the site–”Here’s a simple solution to organizing the dirty laundry in your laundry room. Construct a custom shelf unit sized to hold three to five laundry hampers so clothes can be sorted upon arrival in the laundry room.“
4. Placemat Organizer: Sew two placemats together with pockets to make an organizer for whatever you need–this example shows craft supplies.
5. Hanging Bed Organizer: Lots of tutes for these around, but this one incorporates a strip of rubberized drawer liner to keep even the heaviest books from pulling out the organizer.
6. Gift Wrap Center: Made out of a sturdy cardboard box, from the site–”Keep the center well stocked, and you’ll be ready any time for any event. No more searching for the tape, scissors and gift-enclosure cards.”
7. Tea Containers: Not a tutorial but this is too easy to figure out for yourself, just wrap some decorative paper around tin containers, add a decorative label and voila! Pretty containers for storing things like tea.
8. Chalkboard Cannisters: I thought these were interesting, paint metal tins with chalkboard paint.
9. Stacked Cupboards: Another thing to watch for on Craigslist or Kijiji, two different sized cupboards to make this interesting armoir, love it!
10. Pegboard Kitchen Drawer Organizer: This is interesting, line a kitchen drawer with pegboard, then fit wooden dowels (cut down to size) inside the peg holes to form “holders” for your various utensils.
