    Make security slips for envelopes.

Cut the sides off the used envelopes, discard front address side and use the back security printed side as security into your other outgoing envelopes. this way no one can hole up the thin envelopes and see your check or correspondence inside.

Can be done while watching tv as it’s mindless work.

A friend of mine used to turn envelopes inside out and sew them around the edges with a zigzag stitch. A letter from him was an adventure.

I belong to a coupon exchange group with my church. We save our envelopes put the months on them (October, November, December) place the coupons that are expiring that month in the corosponding envelope. Place the 12 or so envelopes (no Experation or other) with a list of people who want to perticipate (they place the date of last time looked at next to their name). Eveyone takes out coupons they want and add those they won’t use. This is how I usually use all those envelopes that come in the mail. Pray this money saveing reusing tip helps someone.

When dry, glue the other envlope piece -inside facing down with window over your arrangement.
    decorate rest of envelope.
I know this not a good discription, but hope you can understand—-they make a nice gift.

PS if anyone can write this more understandably—please do

earthday note! keep a cheerful coloured bucket in the bathroom to collect the first few litres of warming shower water. too cold to jump into, but perfect to save for the houseplants, handwashing delicates, toothbrushing or even toilet flushing! (pouring water directly into the bowl causes the toilet to flush without using the tank)
