5 Ideas For Used Envelopes
Cut a corner off used envelopes and use as bookmark corner sleeves–just slide one over the page you are at and you’ll find your place easily the next time you pick up the book. No more folded corners and nice way to utilize used envelopes!
Slit them open and use for scrap paper, to do lists, shopping lists and kids doodle paper
Store receipts, coupons, garden seeds

Make security slips for envelopes.
Cut the sides off the used envelopes, discard front address side and use the back security printed side as security into your other outgoing envelopes. this way no one can hole up the thin envelopes and see your check or correspondence inside.
Can be done while watching tv as it’s mindless work.

A friend of mine used to turn envelopes inside out and sew them around the edges with a zigzag stitch. A letter from him was an adventure.
