Quick Tip: Remember–Pot Handles Turned In
Remember to keep the handles of cookware turned in so they are completely over the stove top and they are not protruding over the edge of the stove at all.
It’s far too easy for young children to reach up and pull a hot pot down on themselves or to bump into the handle and set a pan with hot grease flying when rushing around preparing a meal.
I grew up with a girl who was burned on part of her face and side because of a kitchen accident just like this, the scars are severe and for life.
