Repurposing: Dress Shirts Into Luggage Bags
Today’s feature is from ReadyMade with Button-Down Shoe Bag, a great idea to transform worn out or stained men’s dress shirts into luggage bags:
Transform the shirt’s chest section into a luggage slipcase. Don’t wear drudgery on your sleeve. When yellow stains start to creep across your oxfords and dress socks wear thin, it’s time to transition them to less gland-intensive tasks.
It’s a simple project, cut two rectangles out of the shirt (front and back) that are about 4″ wider and longer than what you need, sew right sides together and voila! Buttoned-up luggage bag at your service. Use these for shoe bags or whatever else you like.
