Here is a lovely assortment of tea cozy patterns that I’ve collected from around the ‘net…a little bit of everything in the lot (knit, crochet and sewing). Many are quite simple and easy enough for beginners so there’s something here for everyone. Enjoy!
Traditional Granny Style : (Knitted) For a 4-cup/ 2-pint pot that is topped with a fun knit flower or pom pom.
Aromatherapy : Features hidden interior pockets to hold fragrant sachets, the hot pot will heat them to release their fragrance.
Quilted : Made with one or two fat quarters and felt shapes for embellishment.
Felted : Felt two old wool sweaters –then have fun sewing this quick and functional piece.
Knit : Made to fit a one person pot, fits a 13 inch circumference mug/teapot.
With Napkins : Reversible and padded, available via pdf download.
Rosy : Crochet. This fits a pot approximately 40 cm in circumference and 13cm tall and has a little stretch to it.
Padded Fabric : Basic design, instructions are given showing how to measure the pot for a custom fit.
Cupcake : Quilted in a fun cupcake design, a yarn pompom is attached for the “cherry top” and buttons and beads represent candy sprinkles.
Spring Explosion : (knitting) A bright & cheery item topped with assorted flowers and leaves.
Felted : Knit, finished size after felting: Circumference: 25.5 inches and Height: 11 inches. This will fit a medium-sized pot.
Easy Ripple : (crochet) Made with 8ply/DK yarn, a 4mm (G) hook & some buttons. Can be made in two sizes (for a 6 cup and a 4 cup pot).
Scallop : Crochet. Made with 8 ply yarn and fits a large size pot.
Cupcake : Complete with a cherry red pom pom on top, available via pdf download.
Blighty : Sized to fit a 6-8 cup pot, topped with an I-cord bow.
Simple : Quilted in a diamond-shape design and edges trimmed in twill tape, nice & easy to whip up.
