Pretty Ruffled Totebag: Tutorial

Picture of Ruffled Tote [wkdesigner.wordpress.com] - Tipnut.comToday’s feature is from Weekend Designer with a tutorial for a pretty, frilly Ruffled Totebag:

A beautiful drawstring totebag made of soft cotton with a cascade of ruffles.

You will need:

Fashion fabric, 45″ wide equal to 3.5 times your bag circumference measurement (W).
Coordinating thread

This bag is a perfect Spring/Summer tote (that seems so far away doesn’t it!) but if you’re taking a holiday this winter to somewhere with sand, surf & sun–how fun would this bag be!

I have some nice vintage cotton sheeting that I think would make up really nice in this, and will wash like a dream too. The bag is a simple tote embellished with several rows of ruffles.

Please visit the site above for all the project details, so pretty!
