Today’s feature is two videos showing how to find hidden treasures in batteries that can help you save money.

This is sadly not true. Breaking open batteries will not reveal several smaller batteries. This is a shaggy dog story that has been debunked at sites such as snopes.com. I personally saw a movie on YouTube claiming that you coudl find over 32 double A batteries inside of a large block battery. It is all bunk, do a little online research to find the truth.

Yep, it’s an urban legend. Please don’t go cutting into old batteries: they can contain toxic and corrosive chemicals. It would be best to remove this post from the site, as some people may get excited and try the tip without reading down to the comments!
