- Bring shine to your hair with a bit of honey. Mix 1 tsp of honey into 1 quart of warm water and use as a rinse after shampooing (rinse away shampoo first). Do not wash out the honey/water mix, leave in hair and style as usual. Also see Honey Hair Treatment Recipes.
- Brighten your smile with strawberries & baking soda. First mash a fresh strawberry and add about a tsp of baking soda. Spread on toothbrush and rub strawberry mash onto teeth. Leave for a couple minutes then brush teeth clean. Rinse mouth well. Eating apples (bite into apples, don’t eat in pieces) is also a natural way to whiten teeth. - For healthy nails and cuticles, regularly soak them in olive oil for 30 minutes.
- Dab cooled brewed tea onto face to use as an astringent, good for pimple control.

- Exfoliate skin with a paste of baking soda and water.

- Tighten pores and shrink large pores by mixing table salt and buttermilk into a paste. Massage into skin. Rinse off with warm water. Repeat this treatment twice a day (morning and night) until results are satisfactory.
