Margaret Sling Bag: Sewing Tute

Today’s feature is from Oh, Fransson! with this pattern/tute for a Margaret Sling Bag:

So, by popular demand, I’ve made a pattern and written a tutorial for this bag that I originally designed for my sister, Margaret, for her birthday.

The bag pattern is larger than 8.5″ x 11″, so it needs to be printed and pieced together, where indicated. (Once you have it printed and pieced, you may want to trace the pattern pieces onto larger pattern paper or freezer paper for easier use.)

The bag is lined with a button top closure (perfect for those big plastic vintage buttons you’re dying to use on something).

Whip this up in a bright cheery print and it’s a perfect bag for the summer and toting around on holidays. Pattern file and tutorial are available via free pdf downloads.

Please visit the site above for your pattern copy and all the details, cute bag!
