Snowflake Gift Soaps: How To
Today’s feature is from All Things Hold Together with a charming idea for homemade soaps–Snowflake Soap Tutorial:
Yesterday, I finally started making holiday soaps. The first ones I made were these adorable goat milk snowflake soaps scented with peppermint essential oil.
Materials Needed:
- Silicone muffin pan (6-cavity)
- Approx. 20 oz. Goat Milk Soap Base
- Cornflower Blue Mica
- Peppermint Essential Oil (second distillation)
- Small Metal Snowflake Cookie Cutter
- Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
- Measuring Cup, Spoons, Etc.
These are easier to make than one might think. Melt some soap in the microwave, pour into the muffin cups, allow to harden a bit, cut out preferred shape (in the center), pour a second layer of melted soap over top (in a different color), allow to cool and voila!
Visit the site above for complete instructions, nice idea for gift giving.
