Tote bags are an easy and satisfying sewing project, and can also be a quick project if you are using pre-cut fabric, like tea towels. For this bag, I used a set of Orla Keily towels from Target.
This tote is a very quick & easy project, perfect for beginner sewers. All you need for supplies:
- 2 dish towels (bag is lined)
- 1″ belting (3 yards)
- Fusible fleece interfacing (optional)
- Coordinating piping (optional)
Please visit the site above for the tutorial, nice and easy project for the weekend. If you have a vintage tablecloth kicking around that you’re itching to make something with, this would be a nice project to use it for.
