Star Fruit Cushion Tutorial: {Sewing}
Here’s a fun, creative cushion idea from Matching Pegs for today’s feature: Star Fruit Cushion Tutorial:

Star Fruit Cushions Tutorial By matchingpegs.com
This cushion is really a large version of a Lotus Biscornu, and used May Britt’s Pincushion Tutorial as a starting point (with her permission). I thought it ended up looking like a cut piece of Star Fruit, hence the name. This cushion is about 14 3/4″ in diameter and about 7 1/2” high.
I love it! Pretty simple sewing involved since it’s mainly straight lines (with a bit of the cushion sewn closed by hand). Use some pretty prints, add a couple decorative buttons, stuff it well and voila! a creative cushion that is sure to add a touch of fun to any room. Lots of pictures and details for making the cushion are included in the tutorial.
