Your Sunbonnet Gal-Wednesday, is part of a series of Copyrighted designs called Miss Daisy, redwork designs by Needle In Motion. You may have serious problems trying to sell it as your own design! Please do your homework before taking someone else’s work as you own!
Doris
#1–I’m not trying to sell them, they’re free downloads. I’m not claiming they’re my designs, it’s clearly written that they’re designs from the 1950s.
#2–Those aren’t designed by the company you mentioned, they’re simply selling copies of these vintage patterns.
It would have been a nice courtesy for you to do your homework before you accuse me of something.
I think MOST of us clearly understood that these designs were not claimed to be your own, but are now in the Public Domain. I for one (and many others!) appreciate the trouble you have gone to in order to give us patterns that most of us would otherwise never have access to. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for this beautiful series. I really appreciate all you have done for your fellow-embroiderers (is that a word?)
Have a GREAT day!
