Wallpaper Canisters Project By canadianhomeandcountry.com
Turn tired tins into attractive kitchen accessories with this easy craftEvery year as the holidays approach, our relatives start sending us all sorts of edible delights in big metal tins. We gobble up the treats, but the tacky tins are a little harder to swallow. Giving them a wallpaper makeover makes them as pretty to look at as they are handy to have around.
Simple project idea, all you need are wallpaper scraps, spray adhesive, tacky glue and some grosgrain ribbon to turn tired old tins into something display-worthy. Arrange them as a kitchen display or have a few on your desk and in your office for holding office supplies (would be great in the craft room too).
Please visit the site above for all the project details. This canister make-over project reminds me of the Etched Glass Pantry Jars project which turns plain old glass jars into something pretty. I have a few more crafty tutes and ideas listed for tin make-overs here: Repurposing Biscuit Tins – Organizing Ideas & Craft Projects.

I love the retro wallpaper. It makes the canisters look so fun and funky!
ITA, in fact the first canister on the left reminds of the pattern that was on my barbie doll case when I was like 7 years old, lol.
