Tip For Organizing Measuring Cups
Today’s featured tip is from The Lazy Organizer.
Lara has a great idea for organizing your measuring cups:
I keep measuring cups in my baking supplies so I don’t have to wash them every time I use them because I don’t know, I’m lazy? I always use a 1 cup for oats so that’s what I keep in my oat container. A 1/2 cup works in my brown sugar, granola and rice.
She keeps four different sizes in her flour and sugar bins, even the flour sifter fits in nicely.
Unfortunately for me–my kitchen is very limited in space. That means it’s small! So I don’t have room for the wonderful bins that Lara has.
I did try this with my kitchen canisters that are sitting on the counter and it works just as well. Plenty of room for a measuring cup in each. For the items stored in my pantry, I have a mix of small tubs and bags and I just tossed a measuring cup in each. Luckily, my drawers seem to breed measuring cups so I had plenty to go around
