Tip for Winter Driving
Keep a small bag of cat litter in your trunk when driving in the winter. This will come in handy if you ever get stuck–simply sprinkle the ground around your tires with cat litter and this will help give your tires some traction in snow and ice.
You can also store the cat litter in a large sealed tin such as old coffee cans or even in a big old plastic milk jug with cap (make sure to clean and dry the milk jug well before adding cat litter).
