How To Make A Tire Swing: DIY Project
Today’s feature is from My Mommy’s Place with this DIY tutorial How To Make A Tire Swing:

DIY Tire Swing Tutorial Provided By mymommysplace.com
Items Needed: A tire. A strong rope. A tree.
Oh the memories! Swinging on one of these was always something to look forward to in the summer. Is it possible to find anything in the stores nowadays that provides more fun and giggles than an old tire hanging by a rope from a tree? And take a look at that picture, imagine gently swinging to take in the view around you, wow.
A few neat tricks provided in the tutorial including drilling holes in the bottom of the tire so rain can drain out (to prevent the tire swing from being filled with sludge water) and using a tennis ball tied up in an old sock to throw the rope up over the tree branch (if climbing a ladder freaks you out too much). Lots of pictures included in the tutorial.
Great, fun project that the kids will enjoy for years! Please visit the site above for tips and instructions. If you need help tying the rope in knots, see How to Tie the 10 Most Useful Knots.
