Crafty Tooth Fairy Treats: {Tutorials & Freebies}

I’ve had a list of tooth fairy projects building for awhile now but when I was making the felt crafts list ^[1] posted earlier today, I found several more…time for a new project sheet and I think this one’s a lot of fun! Most of these are for sewing pillows or cushions (with little pockets to hold teeth), but there are a couple printables and other craft ideas too. As with all project sheets here on Tipnut, I’ll be adding to this as I find more goodies. Enjoy!

Pillow With Tooth Pouch ^[2]: Made with 4 different fabrics, ribbon, white felt (for the tooth) and filling. Use ribbon to make a hanging loop and pretty bow across the top.

Matryoshka Pillow ^[3]: A sweet felt doll with a front pocket to hold the tooth and any treasure that the tooth fairy may leave behind. Hangs by ribbon.

Tooth Pockets ^[4]: Simple felt pouch with a tooth applique on front (fusible webbing), large enough to hold a small toy or folded money. Free template available via pdf download.

Monster Pillow ^[5]: Made with a fat quarter of cotton fabric, white felt, orange felt, small black buttons and stuffed with polyfill. Tutorial available via pdf download.

Bags ^[6]: The little ones will love these, little drawstring pouches that the tooth fairy will be sure to check.

Bear ^[7]: Hand-stitched felt bears that feature a front pocket to safely hold teeth while waiting for the Tooth Fairy. Free template to download (pdf).

Easy Pillow Tutorial ^[8]: A cotton fabric pillow with a front felt pouch (embellished with a smiling tooth), decorative ribbon for a hanging strap.

Pocket Pillow ^[9]: Learn how to make a small flannel cushion with a felt tooth pocket. Free template provided (via pdf).

Tooth Fairy Box ^[12]: Cute & crafty container made out of a large matchbox and embellished with colored felt and decorative ribbon.

Fancy Box ^[13]: Add some bling to a small box with cute scrapbook paper, Mod Podge, fun ribbon and a crystal monogram letter to hold the tooth fairy treasures.

Tooth Fairy Jar ^[14]: A fun tradition you may want to try, fill a mason jar with water, tint it with food coloring (and maybe add some glitter). Tooth is placed in the jar instead of under the pillow.

Knit Pillow ^[15]: Scraps of red and blue yarn are used to stitch the eyes and mouth, has a back pocket.
