Vintage Doily Project Idea: Doily Bowls

Today’s feature is from Design*Sponge with DIY Project: Jane’s Doily Bowl, I also tucked in a few more doily goodies at the bottom.

Doily Bowl – Materials Needed:

• fabric doily
• masking tape
• interesting pieces of paper
• buttons
• anything else you want to sew on the bowl
• embroidery thread
• a large bowl to use as a template
• paint brush
• PAVERPOL or a similar fabric hardener

I have a linen cupboard full of vintage doilies that I can’t pass up at garage sales (they can be had for just pennies!), waiting for the perfect project to use them for–love this project! Found via Whipup.
